Precima Shares the Importance of Shopper Analytics at FMI

MIAMIJanuary 26, 2019 – Precima, a retail consulting and analytics firm specializing in shopper insights and customer-centric solutions, will reveal insights on how grocery retailers can best use data analytics to optimize the in-store and online shopper experience through loyalty programs, promotions and personalization at the FMI Midwinter Conference this weekend.

Precima’s AVP, Steve Hasen, will join a panel of renowned analysts and technologists in a session titled: “Investing in Technology and Data Analytics that Make it Possible: Digital Imperatives Part 2: Insights into Cohesive Shopper Insights, Marketing & Promotions and Digital Shelf Optimization.” The panel will discuss the digitally connected commerce environment and review how changes in media consumption, advertising and shopping behaviors are creating new opportunities for retailers.

“Using shopper insights, marketing and promotions and digital shelf optimization, retailers can navigate a complicated landscape. The session will reveal insights on how to create a simplified approach to do so,” says Hasen. “I will be focusing on loyalty, which can be gained or lost across a number of touch points between shoppers and food retailers, which is why it is so important for retailers to consider behavior incentives at every point of the customer journey.”

The session will be held in the Imperial Ballroom of the National Doral Resort in Miami, Saturday January 26 from 10:00 am to 10:45 am. Hasen will be available for interviews during the conference.
