A large regional grocery chain wanted to determine which categories represented the largest opportunity to generate incremental sales through an increased share of wallet from key customers.

Practical Solution:

After a thorough evaluation, Precima found that 45 percent of overall sales opportunity was driven by just 50 categories. Several of the categories with high sales potential were not an existing focus, which resulted in a shift in the grocers strategic priorities.
